Description
Design, implement, and review background work — queues, workers, scheduled/cron jobs, and the transactional outbox — across Supabase (Queues/pgmq, pg_cron, Edge Functions), Vercel Cron, hosted workflow engines (Inngest, Trigger.dev, QStash), Cloudflare Queues, and .NET (BackgroundService, Hangfire, Quartz) — covering at-least-once delivery and idempotency, retries with backoff, dead-letter handling, visibility timeouts, small ID-based payloads, concurrency control (SKIP LOCKED, advisory locks), time zones, serverless duration limits, and monitoring. Use whenever work should happen outside the request (emails, webhooks follow-up, image processing, reports, syncs, cleanups) or the user sets up cron, queues, or workers, or reviews job code.
