Privacy Policy

Last updated October 4, 2026

This policy explains what information AiSkillz collects when you use the website and MCP server, what it never collects, and how it is used. It works alongside the Terms of Service.

1. Who we are

AiSkillz is operated by CodeCraft LLC, which is responsible for the personal information described here. You can reach us at customputing@outlook.com.

2. What we collect

  • Account details: your email address and sign-in details, and the username, display name, bio, and avatar you add to your profile.
  • Payments: Stripe handles card details. We keep your Stripe customer reference and your purchase and subscription status, not your card number.
  • Security and request details: when you sign up, submit a skill, file a copyright report, or make a request to the AiSkillz MCP server, we record your IP address, the approximate location derived from it (country, region, city, approximate coordinates, and time zone), your browser or tool's user agent, and its language setting. We use these to prevent abuse and fraud and to investigate security problems.
  • MCP usage: for each MCP tool call, which tool and skill were used, whether access was granted, the time, and the machine label you chose when creating your API key.
  • Skill submissions: the files and listing details you submit, and the results of their automated and manual reviews.
  • Emails: messages we send you, such as email verification, and anything you send to us.

3. What we never collect

  • Your local skills. AiSkillz never extracts the skills on your machine, or the differences between your skills and similar AiSkillz skills. Reconciling overlapping skills happens in your local AI session only; the MCP server receives just the name of the AiSkillz skill being compared.
  • Your project check. If you ask your AI tool which skills fit a project, it shows you the public package, service, and language names before sending them. We use those names only to answer that request and do not store them; we only log that the check ran.
  • Your code. We do not receive your source code, files, file paths, or environment values through the MCP server.

4. How we use information

  • To provide your account, deliver the skills you have access to, and process payments.
  • To review submitted skills for security and quality.
  • To keep AiSkillz secure: detecting abuse, blocking attackers, and investigating incidents.
  • To send account and service messages, and to answer you when you contact us.
  • To meet legal obligations, such as handling copyright notices.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising. We share it only with providers that run parts of AiSkillz for us:

  • Supabase: database, sign-in, and file storage.
  • Stripe: payments and subscriptions.
  • Resend: sending email.
  • Google (Gemini): automated review of the content of submitted skills.
  • Our hosting provider: serving the website and MCP server.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect people or the service, or as part of a sale or reorganisation of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply.

6. Cookies

We use only the cookies AiSkillz needs to work: the sign-in session cookies that keep you signed in, and a cookie that remembers the theme you picked. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Photos on the site are delivered from our own servers, so visiting a page does not send your details to the photo provider.

7. How long we keep it

We keep account information while your account exists. Security and usage records are kept as long as they are needed for security, fraud prevention, and resolving disputes. Records of purchases are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymise your information unless we must keep it for these reasons.

8. Your choices and rights

You can update your profile on your account page and revoke API keys from your dashboard. You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete your account by emailing customputing@outlook.com. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local privacy law; we will honour them as that law requires.

9. Security

We protect information with access controls in the database, encrypted connections, and hashed API keys (we cannot see your full key after it is created). No system is perfectly secure, so keep your sign-in details and API keys private and tell us about anything suspicious.

10. Children

AiSkillz is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

11. Changes to this policy

We will update the "last updated" date when this policy changes and tell account holders about material changes by email or on the site before they take effect.
