Set up, advise on, and review JavaScript/TypeScript monorepos with pnpm workspaces and Turborepo — pnpm-workspace.yaml, the workspace protocol, catalogs for shared versions, internal packages (just-in-time TS vs built), package.json exports, shared config packages (tsconfig, eslint, tailwind), Turborepo task graph (dependsOn ^build, outputs, caching, remote cache), filtering and affected builds, Next.js transpilePackages, Tailwind v4 @source for packages, Expo/Metro in monorepos, pnpm dependency-script approval, and CI. Use whenever pnpm-workspace.yaml or turbo.json exists, the user wants to share code between a Next.js app and an Expo app, split a repo into packages, or fix "module not found" / duplicate React / slow builds in a monorepo.
