Description

Build and review native-feeling Expo Router app UI — route and folder structure, layouts with Stack, Tabs and NativeTabs, stacks nested inside tabs, headers, large titles, search bars and toolbars, modals and form sheets, dynamic routes and typed params, links and redirects, protected routes, scroll views with automatic content insets, safe areas, platform-native controls and icons (expo-image SF Symbols, haptics, blur and glass effects), choosing between React Native components, @expo/ui native SwiftUI/Jetpack Compose components, and Expo DOM components ('use dom') for web-only libraries, plus modern library choices (expo-image, expo-audio, expo-video). Use whenever the user builds screens, navigation, tabs, headers, sheets, or UI in an Expo Router app, wants it to feel native on iOS/Android, or reviews Expo UI code.

Changelog

v1.1.0Oct 3, 2026Latest

Changed

  • Checked against the official documentation (October 2026).
  • Added NativeTabs import paths by SDK (stable expo-router/native-tabs from SDK 58) and its limits: 5 tabs on Android, no nested or dynamic native tabs, FlatList caveats, iOS 26 Liquid Glass ignoring tab bar styling.
  • Noted that the Stack composition API is alpha, Expo Router no longer depends on React Navigation (SDK 56), and edge-to-edge insets are mandatory on Android.
v1.0.1Oct 3, 2026

Changed

  • Renamed the title to describe what the skill does with the product, so it doesn't read as an official or endorsed edition.
  • Added a trademark notice to the README.
v1.0.0Oct 2, 2026

Added

  • First release.
