Description
Design and review PostgreSQL data models (including Supabase) — primary keys (UUIDv7/UUID vs identity), types (timestamptz, text with checks, numeric or integer cents for money), constraints as business rules, enums vs lookup tables vs CHECK, JSONB vs relational columns, multi-tenancy with tenant_id plus RLS, soft deletes and partial unique indexes, audit/history tables, created_at/updated_at handling, indexing foreign keys and query patterns, many-to-many join tables, full-text search, naming conventions, and avoiding EAV. Use whenever the user designs new tables or schemas, models a feature's data, asks "how should I store X", reviews an ERD or schema, or plans multi-tenant or marketplace data.
